TITLE: Lead Plumber
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Valid driver's license.
• Valid State of Oklahoma contractor's license preferred.
• Applicable city plumbing contractor's license preferred.
• Must be able to perform all duties.
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
REPORTS TO: Maintenance Director
SUPERVISES: Plumbing Crew
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Supervise the work of all plumbing journeyman and apprentices.
• Read and understand architectural and mechanical drawings,specifications and submittals.
• Work well with outside contractors and subcontractors on current projects and make necessary inspections and recommendations on such projects.
• Pull permits on jobs when required.
• Computer and communications skills.
• Plan all jobs and order materials.
• Oversee jobs and make sure they are done safely.
• Check equipment and make sure it is in safe working condition.
• Administrative duties include distribution,scheduling, and monitoring of work orders submitted by various sites throughout the district.
• Performs such other tasks as may be assigned.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Twelve-month basis. Salary to be established by the Board of Education.
EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with provisions of the
Board's policy.
