General Job Description

Position Overview 

The Plumbing Field Supervisor is responsible for supporting plumbing operations, maintaining quality workmanship, ensuring customer satisfaction, and contributing to the successful execution of installation, service, replacement, or operational objectives while collaborating effectively with internal teams, customers, vendors, and field personnel. 

Primary Responsibilities 

  • Perform assigned Plumbing-related duties and responsibilities in support of departmental and company objectives. 
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures. 
  • Coordinate effectively with internal departments, customers, subcontractors, and vendors as . 
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reporting related to assigned responsibilities. 
  • Support process improvement initiatives and operational efficiency efforts. 
  • Communicate professionally and effectively both verbally and in writing. 
  • Assist leadership and team members with daily operational activities. 
  • Ensure quality standards and customer expectations are consistently met. 
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Abilities 

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. 
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. 
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy. 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively. 
  • Knowledge of Plumbing systems, tools, equipment, and applicable codes preferred. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and applicable systems or software. 
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building skills. 
  • Ability to pass pre-employment screenings such as background and motor vehicle record checks. 
  • English speaking, reading, and writing preferred, and required where necessary to perform job duties. 
  • Spanish speaking preferred. 
  • Maintain professionalism and a positive, respectful demeanor with customers, coworkers, and business partners. 

Education/Experience 

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred. 
  • Previous experience related to hvac installation supervisor responsibilities preferred. 
  • HVAC industry experience preferred. 
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. 
  • Relevant industry certifications or licenses preferred, and required where necessary to perform job duties. 

Physical Requirements 

  • Sit, stand, walk, climb, bend, and computer use. 
  • Hand movements, including typing and equipment operation. 
  • Travel as  to support project and operational needs. 
  • Stand, walk, climb ladders and stairs, kneel, bend, stoop, crouch, crawl, reach, and lift throughout the workday. 
  • Sit for extended periods while driving to and between job sites. 
  • Work on active job sites, indoors and outdoors, including attics, crawlspaces, and confined or elevated spaces, with exposure to varying weather, construction noise, dust, and other job site conditions. 
  • Wear safety gear such as Personal Protective Equipment. 
  • Maintain dependable transportation and consistent, reliable attendance to meet customer service and operational needs. 
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and make independent decisions within established company policies and procedures. 
  • Ability to work overtime, modified schedules, or occasional weekends as business needs require. 
  • Communicate in person, by phone, and electronically, including on a tablet, smartphone, and other office technology. 
  • Perform all work on-site and in person; this is not a remote or hybrid position. 
  • Lift, carry, push, and pull at least 50 pounds. 

This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship or work authorization support. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without current or future need for employer sponsorship.
