Salary Range: Putnam County Schools Service Annual Salary based on experience and education level per Putnam County Board of Education salary schedule plus a competitive benefits package to include: PEIA insurance, retirement, life insurance, and free vision and dental insurance.

 

Job Description:  The Plumber II/General Maintenance is responsible for repairing and maintaining plumbing as well as performing minor repairs to equipment and buildings of the school system.

 

Qualifications:           

  • Holds a high school diploma or GED
  • Holds “Carpenter”, “Plumber” classifications.
  • Verified work experience as a carpenter and glazier.
  • Holds or qualifies for a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A

 

Length of Employment:   261 Days

 

Responsibilities:  The Plumber II/General Maintenance Employee shall have the following responsibilities and duties:

 

  1. To repair and maintain plumbing as directed.
  2. To assist skilled maintenance employees and perform minor repairs to equipment and buildings.
  3. To respond to emergency situations as required.
  4. To perform the physical demands of the position, as necessary, in an effective and efficient manner.
  5. To perform other duties as assigned by the Assistant Superintendent for Services or the Supervisor of Maintenance.
