Apprentice (HVAC, Plumbing and Electric)

 Position Summary

Haven Services is seeking motivated and reliable Apprentices to join our skilled trades team across Plumbing, HVAC, and Electrical divisions. This entry-level role is designed for individuals looking to build a long-term career in the trades through hands-on training, mentorship, and real-world experience. Apprentices will work under the supervision of licensed technicians to develop technical skills, safety knowledge, and industry best practices.

 Apprentice positions available in Columbus, Dayton, Cleveland, Mason, Bridgetown, Bedford Heights, New Brunswick, and Smithville.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist licensed technicians with installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems 
• Support job site preparation, tool setup, and material handling 
• Learn to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals 
• Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines 
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment 
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors 
• Attend training sessions and actively participate in skill development 
• Accurately document work performed and assist with job reporting 

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred 
• Interest in pursuing a career in the skilled trades (Plumbing, HVAC, or Electrical) 
• Ability to work in physically demanding environments (lifting, climbing, standing for extended periods) 
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn 
• Basic mechanical aptitude is a plus 
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
