Vander Hyde Mechanical, a family-owned leader in HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical services, is seeking a Commercial Plumbing Estimator to join our growing commercial division.

Accurate estimating is critical to our success, and we’re looking for an experienced professional who takes pride in delivering precise, competitive proposals.
Responsibilities

Prepare accurate commercial plumbing estimates

Develop and present professional proposals

Generate submittals and assist with project documentation

Collaborate with Project Managers during preconstruction and project execution

Build and maintain relationships with vendors, subcontractors, suppliers, contractors, and clients

Review bids, quotes, and vendor pricing for accuracy and competitiveness

Track project data, metrics, and forecasting trends
Qualifications

Current Journeyman Plumber license
-
Minimum 7 years of commercial plumbing field experience

Strong understanding of commercial plumbing systems and construction processes

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and apply building codes

High attention to detail with strong organizational skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

Clear communication and effective negotiation skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record

Ability to pass a background check and reference screening
