Salary: $160,000 to $250,000 annually (DOE)
Status: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Some extended hours as needed

Overview:
Great Basin Staffing LLC is seeking a senior-level Commercial Project Executive to lead business development, sales execution, and team mentorship in the plumbing and mechanical construction space. This position plays a critical role in driving regional growth by cultivating new client relationships, securing project opportunities, and developing project teams. The ideal candidate is an experienced leader with a consultative approach, deep industry knowledge, and a proven ability to generate and convert business opportunities into successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all phases of project pursuit, estimation, client engagement, and sales closure
Develop and implement strategic plans for market growth across commercial plumbing and mechanical scopes
Lead and oversee full-cycle project management through client handoff to closeout
Build and maintain a pipeline of new clients and opportunities through proactive outreach and referrals
Assign and optimize Project Manager and Engineer workloads across the region
Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and client needs to refine growth strategies
Support hiring, coaching, and performance development of PMs and Project Engineers
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments to align project and resource needs
Represent the company with professionalism in client, industry, and stakeholder relationships
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Sales Management, or related field
10+ years of experience in commercial mechanical construction, plumbing, or HVAC
Extensive experience managing projects from $5M to $25M+
Proven track record in business development, contract negotiation, and team leadership
Strong understanding of project cost control, forecasting, and estimating
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management/accounting software
Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed
