About the Role

We are hiring a Data Center Construction Director to lead the physical buildout of each new Fluidstack facility or site expansion, converting designs into operational sites. You will oversee the civil, structural, architectural (CSA) and mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP) execution, as well as coordinating external general contractors, vendors, and internal design and infrastructure teams. Your mission is to bring world-class designs to life. This position offers a greenfield opportunity to define the future of AI infrastructure.

Focus

  • Lead end-to-end execution of all data center construction projects, including direct site mobilization, earthworks, structural steel, envelope, MV/LV powertrains, liquid-cooling and immersion-cooling systems, white-space fit-out and fiber deployment through practical completion and “power-on”.

  • Manage all CSA and MEP contractors, enforcing safety, schedule, and budget requirements.

  • Align construction deliverables with hardware density and thermal requirements.

  • Oversee quality control and site inspection processes across multiple builds.

  • Coordinate closely with design, operations, and deployment engineering to ensure smooth handoffs.

  • Mitigate construction risks, anticipate challenges, and implement rapid-response strategies.

About You

  • B.S/B.E/B.A degree in CSA / Electrical / Mechanical engineering discipline.

  • 10+ years of experience in large-scale industrial or data-center construction.

  • Successful completion of high-density facilities from groundbreaking to hand-over.

  • Strong background in CSA (earthworks, deep foundations, seismic steel, façades) and MEP disciplines (liquid and immersion cooling, MV substations, high-efficiency UPS, busway & fiber).

  • Ability to read and challenge engineering plans.

  • Deep familiarity with mission-critical systems and commissioning protocols.

  • Excellent vendor management, contract negotiation, and team leadership skills.

  • Track record of delivering complex projects on tight timelines.

Benefits

  • Competitive total compensation package (salary + equity).

  • Retirement or pension plan, in line with local norms.

  • Health, dental, and vision insurance.

  • Generous PTO policy, in line with local norms.
