Position Summary
The Field Supervisor plays a key leadership role in overseeing day-to-day service operations, training field technicians, resolving in-field challenges, and driving revenue through service excellence and customer engagement. This role is responsible for achieving daily revenue targets, mentoring technicians, and ensuring the company’s profitability and service standards are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
Customer Satisfaction
  • Ensure high-quality service delivery and prompt resolution of customer issues.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships to support repeat business and generate positive referrals.
  • Manage communications related to recalls, liability claims, escalations, and customer satisfaction follow-ups.
Team Leadership & Development
  • Lead, motivate, and train a team of plumbers and support staff.
  • Foster a positive team culture, conduct performance reviews, and build leadership from within.
  • Oversee and deliver sales, software, and safety training.
  • Conduct regular employee observations and monthly team scorecard reviews.
  • Review and complete driver safety score evaluations for all technicians.
Business Growth & Strategy
  • Develop and implement strategies to expand service offerings and attract new customers.
  • Stay informed on industry innovations, new products, and best practices.
  • Monitor and enforce driver safety, proper use of PPE, and on-the-job safety protocols to support sustainable growth.
Operational Management
  • Coordinate daily operations, including scheduling, dispatching, project management, and asset tracking.
  • Ensure efficient workflow through technical training, job site visits, ride-alongs, employee evaluations, and post-service customer follow-ups.
Financial Performance
  • Estimate, plan, and oversee projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to customer expectations.
  • Coach and train technicians on proper invoicing, job prioritization, and daily productivity.
  • Monitor and project job counts, average job revenue, same-day completions, cancellations, and rescheduling to maintain financial health and improve profitability.
Performance Goals
  • Customer Satisfaction – Measured by reviews, callbacks, and resolution efficiency
  • Team Development – Technician skill growth, training completion, and retention
  • Department Profitability – Margin control, efficiency, and daily performance metrics
    • Driving score: Average of 90 or better
    • Safety: eliminate injuries and at-fault accidents
  • Accountability to Core Values – Demonstrated leadership in customer focus, urgency, honesty, and follow-through
