Build Your Career with ProTech Mechanical

Are you an experienced commercial plumber looking for steady work, a supportive team, and a better work-life balance? ProTech Mechanical, a Crete United company, is growing and looking for a licensed Journeyman or Master Plumber to join our Corpus Christi team.

In this role, you’ll provide commercial plumbing service, maintenance, repairs, and installation support. You’ll work directly with customers to diagnose issues, explain practical solutions, and complete high-quality work safely and professionally.

What You’ll Do

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial plumbing and drainage systems.
  • Respond to scheduled service calls and plumbing emergencies.
  • Install and repair pipes, valves, fittings, fixtures, and related equipment.
  • Perform routine inspections and identify potential plumbing issues.
  • Complete camera inspections, sewer-line locating, and sanitary-line cleaning or jetting.
  • Support construction projects, punch-list work, and warranty calls as needed.
  • Read blueprints and use lasers, transits, locators, and other trade-specific tools.
  • Operate excavation equipment when required and properly trained.
  • Review installations with project management and communicate areas of concern.
  • Gather field information, labor needs, and material requirements for quoted work.
  • Present customers with clear repair or replacement options without recommending unnecessary services.
  • Complete service reports and other documentation using company-provided technology.
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and properly stocked company vehicle.
  • Follow all company and site-specific safety requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with customers, field teams, and project leadership.

What We’re Looking For

  • At least five years of commercial plumbing service experience.
  • Active Texas Journeyman Plumber or Master Plumber license through TSBPE.
  • Valid Texas driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
  • Strong troubleshooting and customer-service skills.
  • Ability to manage time, priorities, and multiple service assignments.
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
  • Backflow Prevention Assembly Tester certification is a plus.

If you take pride in your work, enjoy solving problems, and want to grow with a team that values safety, integrity, and quality, we’d like to hear from you.
