Momentus Field Service provides a full range of plumbing solutions for commercial properties across Virginia, including:
Installation or replacement of faucets, toilets, and showerheads.
P-trap cleaning.
Garbage disposal replacement.
Shutoff valve installation.
Water pressure adjustments.
Minor pipe leak repairs.
Handling extensive drain clogs.
Leak detection using moisture sensors or pressure testing.
Partial pipe rerouting.
Toilet flange repairs.
Water heater replacement (up to 75 gallons).
Sump pump installs.
ADA-compliant fixture upgrades.
Urinal services.
Backflow preventer installation and testing.
Hydro jetting of main lines.
Sewer camera inspections (CCTV).
Trenchless sewer repair.
Full building repiping (copper, PEX, CPVC).
Commercial boiler or water heater installations.
Grease trap systems.
Submetering for multi-tenant buildings.
Booster and recirculation pump systems.
Storm and roof drain cleaning.
Thermal or acoustic leak detection.
Code compliance inspections.
Emergency plumbing response.
Seasonal services, like winterizing exposed lines.

Full-service plumbing for renovations and tenant fit-outs, including commercial kitchen systems.
As a Journeyman Plumber, you will perform the following core duties:
Installation & Maintenance: Install, maintain, and repair fixtures (faucets, toilets, showerheads, urinals, garbage disposals).
Diagnostics & Repair:
Handle minor and extensive pipe leak repairs.
Conduct drain cleaning and clog removal, including using hydro-jetting equipment.
Perform sewer camera inspections (CCTV) for diagnostics.
Utilize leak detection tools (moisture sensors, thermal imaging, acoustic tools).
System Upgrades:
Reroute piping.
Install backflow preventers, sump pumps, and ADA-compliant fixtures.
Support the installation and maintenance of commercial water heating systems and booster pump systems.
Execute trenchless pipe repair.
Experience & Training: Comprehensive training and hands-on experience, typically gained through a formal apprenticeship or comparable background.
Licensure: Journeyman Plumber's license or Master Plumber's license for the state of Virginia or a reciprocity state.
Minimum Experience: 1 year of experience.
Certifications (Preferred): Backflow certification (preferred, but not mandatory).
Driving: Must have and maintain a valid state-issued driver's license and a clean driving record to operate company vehicles or equipment.
