This position involves skilled work that supports the safe and reliable operation of plumbing and heating systems throughout the facility. As a Plumber 2, you will perform the following duties:

• System Repairs: Diagnose issues and repair plumbing and heating systems, fixtures, pumps, drains, pipes, and related equipment
• Equipment Installation: Install plumbing and heating components using blueprints, sketches, and diagrams to meet facility needs
• Preventive Maintenance: Complete routine checks and maintain equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation
• Safety Practices: Follow safety procedures and keep work areas clean to reduce hazards
• Project Planning: Assist with layout tasks and coordinate with other trades to support efficient project completion
• Technical Knowledge: Apply plumbing and pipefitting principles to determine layouts, materials, and appropriate work methods

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Full-time employment
• Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. This position may be called in as needed for emergencies.
• Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
• Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• Five years of experience in the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing components and fixtures including two years performing plumbing installation and repair assignments independently in commercial, industrial, or multi-unit residential structures; or
• An equivalent combination of experience and training which includes two years performing plumbing installation and repair assignments independently in commercial, industrial, or multi-unit residential structures.

Special Requirements:

• This position requires possession of a valid driver's license.

Legal Requirements:

• A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
• This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
