The King County’s Building Operations Section (BOS) within the Facilities Management Division (FMD) is currently looking to hire a Plumber who wants to be part of a team that prides themselves at providing excellent customer service to our King County customers. This position is part of our Plumbing and Mechanical Shop and will be responsible for performing journey-level Plumber duties such as installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in and around County facilities. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced journey level plumber.
This position requires the capability to respond to shifting priorities all while accomplishing daily tasks in a safety sensitive work environment.
The person in this role must have strong communication skills to interact, collaborate, and prioritize problems with coworkers, customers, and management in a demanding fast paced environment.
This role will require traveling to various locations throughout King County and require a security clearance in order to access the various correctional facilities.
