Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Journeyman Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in commercial settings, ensuring compliance with all applicable codes and standards. This role requires a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation and Maintenance: Install and maintain pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing equipment used for water distribution and wastewater disposal in commercial buildings.
System Inspection: Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify and resolve issues such as leaks, blockages, or corrosion.
Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine the layout of plumbing systems and materials required.
Compliance: Ensure all installations and repairs comply with local plumbing codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
Collaboration: Work closely with contractors, construction teams, and clients to ensure project specifications and deadlines are met.
Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergency plumbing calls, diagnosing issues and implementing effective solutions.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience as a journeyman plumber with a focus on commercial plumbing services.
Skills: Proficient in using plumbing tools and equipment; strong understanding of plumbing systems and components.
Physical Requirements: Ability to work in diverse conditions, including exposure to varying temperatures, confined spaces, and heights; capable of lifting and moving heavy objects as needed.
