Vanguard Resources, Inc. (VRI) is actively recruiting for a Full-Time Facilities Maintenance Technician – Level III (Plumber) to join our team at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, TX.
The Facilities Maintenance Technician – Level III (Plumber) is an experienced skilled trades professional responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and servicing plumbing systems throughout a hospital and associated facilities.
This position performs preventive and corrective maintenance on domestic water, sanitary, waste, drainage, fixtures, valves, pumps, and other plumbing-related systems and equipment. The Plumber responds to plumbing emergencies, identifies system issues, determines appropriate repairs, and works to minimize disruption to hospital operations and patient care.
The ideal candidate has strong hands-on plumbing experience, solid troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while coordinating with hospital staff, vendors, contractors, and the VRI facilities management team.
Healthcare or hospital maintenance experience is preferred.
The position reports to the Facility Supervisor and Facility Manager.
