Journeyman or Master Plumber

Ostlund is hiring a licensed Journeyman or Master Plumber who’s ready to take the next step in their plumbing career. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys being hands-on in the field but is also interested in expanding into project coordination and leadership.

This position blends your field expertise with office-based responsibilities. You’ll play a critical role in planning and managing both residential and commercial plumbing projects—working closely with field crews, vendors, and clients to ensure everything runs smoothly from rough-in to final inspection.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and support plumbing crews—provide guidance, troubleshoot installations, and ensure quality workmanship on-site.
• Coordinate daily jobsite activities—schedule manpower, order materials, and manage deliveries to keep projects on track.
• Review plans and code requirements to ensure compliance, accuracy, and efficiency in all installations.
• Act as the communication hub between the field, office, vendors, and clients—keeping everyone in sync and informed.
• Track materials and manage purchasing, ensuring timely delivery and cost control.
• Maintain key documentation, including permits, inspection reports, and project notes.
• Help close out projects by managing final inspections, punch lists, and paperwork for accurate billing and job completion.

What We’re Looking For

• Licensed Journeyman or Master Plumber (required)
• 5+ years of hands-on plumbing experience, with residential or commercial projects
• Previous experience leading a crew or managing job sites is a strong plus
• Basic experience with project coordination or interest in growing into that role
• Strong communication and leadership skills—you know how to get things done and keep your team aligned
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 and construction management tools
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
