Plumber: 


 

Town House Specialty Cleaning is looking for a hardworking and energetic Plumber to join our team. You should be able to efficiently undertake a variety of plumbing tasks ranging from fixing leakages to installing pipes and HVAC systems. You must have a thorough knowledge of hydraulic systems.



 Essential Responsibilities 

 

 

  • Study and analyze blueprints and floor plans to understand the plumbing system and water supply system layout.
  • Navigate the assembly and installation of pipes and tubes without interfering with existing infrastructure.
  • Measure, cut, and bend pipe material.
  • Assemble valves, fittings, tubes, and water system appliances.
  • Install and maintain building water systems.
  • Troubleshoot and fix issues relating to water supply lines.
  • Repair and replace system issues such as clogged drains, faucet problems, and broken drainage lines.
  • Maintain current knowledge of state regulations affecting plumbing work.

 

Must be able to: 

 

  • Learn simple procedures and techniques
  • Be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays 
  • Flexible schedule
  • Understand simple instructions.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds of force frequently and up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
  • Ability to stand during the entire shift.
  • Always maintain a warm and friendly demeanor.
  • Must effectively communicate verbally and written with all staff members in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.
  • Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
  • Attend all company-required meetings and training.
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing the proper uniform and nametag.

 

Skills:

 

  • Plumbing installation, maintenance, and repair skills
  • Knowledge of steam, water, and natural gas distribution systems maintenance and repair.
  • Skilled in the use of hand and power tools used in the plumbing trade.
  • Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and safety practices.
  • Ability to read and follow blueprints and rough drawings.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Great physical condition.


 Experience:


  • Proven experience as a plumber.
  • License to practice the profession.
