Plumber

Description of the role:

Tuscany Suites and Casino is looking for a skilled Plumber to join our team in Las Vegas, NV.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate, troubleshoot, repair, inspect and maintain plumbing equipment including, but not limited to, faucets, lavatories, toilets, flush valves, sinks, water heaters, domestic water heaters and boilers, tank-less water heaters, garbage disposals, back-flow devices, valves and water meters.
• Perform preventative maintenance inspections and repairs in district facilities including, but not limited to, domestic water systems and related devices and sanitary waste drainage.
• Repair or replace water lines, domestic re-circulation lines, and sewer lines.
• Respond to emergency plumbing calls such as clogged drains, broken water lines, frozen pipes, gas odors and possible gas leaks. Ability to snake drains in all sizes. Evaluate situation and take proper corrective action.
• Install new plumbing fixtures including, but not limited to, sinks, commodes, urinals, faucets, garbage disposals, domestic water heaters and related devices.
• Recommend repair needs to potentially eliminate ongoing and future repairs.
• Perform other duties assigned.

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED required. Good communication skills, ability to perform in a fast paced environment. Minimum of 2 years experience preferred. Must be able to work in an environment with exposure to secondhand smoke and high noise levels. Strong critical thinking and troubleshooting skills to diagnose and solve complex plumbing issues. The ability to perform tasks that involve bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and climbing in various environments. Clear communication skills to explain issues to customers and collaborate with other professionals. Meticulous attention to detail to ensure installations and repairs are done correctly and safely. Must be able to lift objects that weight up to 50 pounds, if required to more than 50lbs.
