We are a vibrant senior living community offering Independent Living apartments, along with Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing services on one campus. Our mission is to provide a safe, supportive, and well-maintained environment where residents and staff thrive. We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our Building Services team for our Independent Living apartments.

Position Summary

This position will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems within the Independent Living apartments on our campus. This includes work on water supply lines, drainage systems, fixtures, and appliances. Additionally, experience with HVAC systems (boilers and chillers) is required to ensure optimal functioning of building systems. The ideal candidate will be experienced, dependable, and focused on maintaining systems efficiently in a residential setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems (water and drainage lines) in Independent Living apartments and common areas (dining rooms, pool, jacuzzi, salon).

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues in residential units and common areas

  • Perform maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems (boilers and chillers)

  • Ensure all work complies with local plumbing codes, safety standards, and facility regulations

  • Respond to urgent maintenance requests and participate in the on-call rotation

  • Work collaboratively with the maintenance team and external contractors as needed

  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used

  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents and staff in a professional and courteous manner

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Minimum 3 years of plumbing experience in residential, multi-unit, or related settings

  • HVAC experience (specifically with boilers and chillers) required

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces

  • Must pass a background check

  • No plumbing license required — experience and skill are key
