Expert Plumbing Service is actively seeking full-time IDPH licensed Plumbers to join their team in Plainfield, Illinois. In their 20 years of business, Expert Plumbing Service has prided themselves in their "Band of Brothers" culture, mentoring and working with their apprentice plumbers upward towards licensing while consistently growing their business!

Pay:

  • $50+ per hour, pending experience
  • Bonus opportunities
  • Commission pay


Schedule:

  • Full-time
  • Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
  • 8-hour shift
  • Monday to Friday


The right candidate will have:

  • Proven experience as a plumber or in a similar role
  • Plumbing sales experience
  • Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations related to plumbing systems
  • Strong interpersonal skills, pleasant personality, and a knack for salesmanship
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for commercial driving purposes
  • Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and specialized plumbing equipment
  • Experience in construction plumbing, including new installations and remodeling projects
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics to understand the layout of plumbing systems
  • Knowledge of commercial driving regulations for transporting materials or equipment if required
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and manual labor as required
  • Ability to weld and solder pipes as needed


Our Plumbers will:

  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings
  • Collaborate with construction teams to ensure plumbing systems are installed correctly during new construction or remodeling projects
  • Inspect plumbing systems and identify issues or potential problems
  • Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning plumbing fixtures, such as faucets, pipes, toilets, and water heaters
  • Use hand tools and power tools to perform plumbing tasks
  • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems
  • Test plumbing systems for leaks and ensure proper functioning
  • Provide excellent customer service and address any concerns or questions from clients
