The Part-Time Plumber will be responsible for performing a variety of plumbing maintenance, repair, and installation tasks for commercial clients in Manhattan. This position is ideal for an experienced plumber looking for flexible hours and steady, ongoing work with a reputable company.
Perform plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance (fixtures, pipes, water lines, drains, etc.)
Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues in commercial buildings
Install and repair water heaters, faucets, toilets, and other plumbing components
Ensure all work complies with NYC plumbing codes and safety standards
Collaborate with electricians and other team members on multi-trade projects
Provide excellent customer service and maintain a clean, professional work environment
Valid NYC plumbing license or relevant certification required
2+ years of plumbing experience (commercial)
Strong knowledge of NYC plumbing codes and regulations
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
Reliable transportation to job sites in Manhattan
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Part-time position (flexible scheduling, typically 15–25 hours per week)
