Position Overview:
As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for assisting clients in selecting premium hardware, plumbing, and home décor products. You’ll build strong relationships with both trade professionals and homeowners, delivering personalized solutions that exceed expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Engage with clients in the showroom and via phone/email to understand their project needs.
Develop and maintain relationships with trade accounts including designers, architects, and builders.
Recommend and sell products that meet the client's aesthetic and functional requirements.
Meet and exceed individual and team sales goals.
Provide accurate product information, quotes, and follow-up communication.
Collaborate with the showroom and purchasing teams to ensure timely and successful project completion.
Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and industry trends.
Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and visually appealing showroom.
Requirements:
1+ years of sales experience, preferably in luxury retail industries.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong customer service mindset with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
Ability to build rapport quickly and maintain long-term client relationships.
Comfortable working with trade professionals (designers, builders, architects).
Highly organized with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects.
Self-motivated and goal-driven.
Proficiency in basic computer systems (email, POS systems, CRM software).
Ability to work in a showroom environment (standing, walking, lifting up to 25 lbs).
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with luxury brands and/or home improvement industries.
Familiarity with decorative hardware, plumbing fixtures, or lighting.
Knowledge of construction or remodeling processes is a plus.
