BR+A is seeking an experienced Plumbing Engineer to join our talented team at our headquarters in Boston, MA. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience, an engineering degree, be a registered Professional Engineer, and possess the following abilities:

  • Experience designing of Plumbing systems for Healthcare and Higher Education projects;
  • Proficient in Auto CAD and Revit;
  • Experience in specification writing;
  • Performs field verification and take-offs of existing systems for renovation projects;
  • Coordinates with other disciplines;
  • Develops calculations for Plumbing/FP systems 
  • Thorough knowledge of Massachusetts plumbing code, model codes and NFPA;
  • Strongly motivated, well organized, shows professional initiative;
  • Takes ownership of assignments, works both independently and as part of the
      project team;
  • Capable of meeting and working with clients and owners.
  • Possesses excellent communication skills both verbal and written;
  • Good understanding of engineering concepts, design, and spatial requirements;
  • Professional attitude and appearance;
  • Positive attitude, results-driven and team-oriented;
  • Able to think three-dimensionally;
  • Able to manage time to meet deadlines.

 

Position requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering;
  • PE License;
  • 10+ years of related experience.
