Full-time Plumbing Project Manager



Job Overview



We are seeking an experienced and skilled Plumbing Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, piping, and plumbing, with 3 to 10 years of relevant work experience. As a Plumbing Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of plumbing projects from inception to completion, ensuring high-quality results, timely delivery, and client satisfaction.



Key Responsibilities



  • Project Planning and Execution:
    • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
    • Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to define project scope and requirements
    • Create and maintain project schedules using project management software
    • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies
    • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
  • Team Management:
    • Lead and supervise a team of plumbers, technicians, and subcontractors
    • Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members based on their skills and project requirements
    • Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to team members as needed
    • Conduct regular team meetings to discuss project progress, challenges, and solutions
    • Evaluate team performance and provide constructive feedback
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Review and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
    • Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards
    • Provide technical advice and recommendations to clients and team members
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in plumbing and project management
    • Troubleshoot complex plumbing issues and develop effective solutions
  • Quality Control:
    • Implement and maintain quality control processes throughout the project lifecycle
    • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work meets quality standards and project specifications
    • Identify and address any deficiencies or issues promptly
    • Coordinate with inspectors and regulatory bodies for necessary approvals and certifications
  • Resource Management:
    • Manage project budgets, including cost estimation, tracking, and reporting
    • Procure materials, equipment, and tools required for projects
    • Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure cost-effective solutions
    • Optimize resource allocation to maximize efficiency and minimize waste
  • Client Relations:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle
    • Communicate project progress, challenges, and updates to clients regularly
