Full-time Plumbing Project Manager
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Plumbing Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, piping, and plumbing, with 3 to 10 years of relevant work experience. As a Plumbing Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of plumbing projects from inception to completion, ensuring high-quality results, timely delivery, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning and Execution:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
- Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to define project scope and requirements
- Create and maintain project schedules using project management software
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
- Team Management:
- Lead and supervise a team of plumbers, technicians, and subcontractors
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members based on their skills and project requirements
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to team members as needed
- Conduct regular team meetings to discuss project progress, challenges, and solutions
- Evaluate team performance and provide constructive feedback
- Technical Expertise:
- Review and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Provide technical advice and recommendations to clients and team members
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in plumbing and project management
- Troubleshoot complex plumbing issues and develop effective solutions
- Quality Control:
- Implement and maintain quality control processes throughout the project lifecycle
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work meets quality standards and project specifications
- Identify and address any deficiencies or issues promptly
- Coordinate with inspectors and regulatory bodies for necessary approvals and certifications
- Resource Management:
- Manage project budgets, including cost estimation, tracking, and reporting
- Procure materials, equipment, and tools required for projects
- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure cost-effective solutions
- Optimize resource allocation to maximize efficiency and minimize waste
- Client Relations:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle
